DeepL is a comprehensive Language AI platform that enables organizations to communicate effectively across languages, cultures, and markets.
For its inaugural customer conference in Berlin, DeepL wanted a name that captured the excitement of connecting an all-star roster of company and industry talent with their loyal customer base. They also needed a name that could be adapted to future conferences hosted in other locations around the world.
Consulting for Pentagram London’s strategy team, I helped create the name Dialogues: a word with Greek roots dia ‘through’ + logos ‘word’ and also containing the Romance word for ‘day.’
The name Dialogues evokes the event’s one-day nature and refers direcly to DeepL’s core products in language, translation, and communication.
